- Fill out an order form (click here) or email me with you ideas (enquries@desperateicons.com).
- I'll get back to you in answer to your queries. I will also include, if applicable, a price quotation and time span estimate plus further details on sending photographs, deposit and my shipping process. We can then discuss your commission, the photographs needed and so on.
- You send your photographs (via email or post) plus the agreed deposit:
If you wish to commission a personal portrait or other work 50% of the total cost will usually be expected in advance. In some cases it may be less. I assess each project as it comes to me.
If you wish to commission a portrait of a well known person (they must be well known in my opinion as well as your own) a smaller deposit (usually about £5/$3.50) will be required before work can begin. In some cases, if you wish to commission a portrait of a well-known person that I like too, a deposit will not be required.
You can send payment using one of the following methods:
- Credit Card via Paypal.com (all customers)
- Cheque made out to Miss P T Seymour (UK only),
- UK Money Order made out to Miss P T Seymour (UK only),
- Well concealed cash (overseas),
- International Money Order made out in UK £'s to Anne Seymour (overseas) - These must be drawn from a UK bank otherwise they cannot be cashed,
- Bank Draft made out in UK £'s to Miss P T Seymour (overseas).
- I receive your deposit and begin work. During this time you will be sent regular photo attachments (or URL links to photographs) of your work in progress for your reference and approval.
- 2-6 weeks later your artwork is completed. I send you a preview photograph of the completed work via email (or URL link) for your approval.
- On acceptance you send balance of payment.
- I receive payment. I notify you and then send your artwork via recorded mail (for rates please contact me). This service is available internationally. Special postage requests can also be met if desired by you.
- Up to 28 days later the postman delivers your art. You sign for it, you like it and tell all your friends. Big smiles all round ^_^

Terms and Conditions:
Please allow 28 days from the date I receive payment for delivery of your artwork. I cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage of work after it has left my hands. Any loss or damage is the sole responsibility of the Post Office and any complaints or claims will be taken up by you, the receiver, with them accordingly. All artwork is sent recorded mail for your protection. I do not accept returns unless work has been wrongly described on my part or sent in error. In the event of a return, the cost of postage will not be refunded. By buying from my site or commissioning me you agree to the above terms.
